HEN Cohort

Hispanic Eating and Nutrition (HEN Cohort)

Birth cohort with children recruited from Zuckerberg-San Francisco General Hospital at UCSF in 2006-2007

  • Primary aim to investigate the relationsip between maternal perinatal depression and infant and child weight gain

  • Secondary aims include relationship between early nutrition exposures and future obesity 

  • Other investigations have centered on the early envrionment and risk for future obesity and prognostic modeling
